CTL expands with new
Midwest branch in Toledo

Corporate Traffic Logistics (CTL), an asset-based third-party logistics (3PL) provider headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, has promoted Rodney Vitek to general manager of the company’s new Toledo branch. As general manager, according to CTL, Vitek will lead its expansion into the Midwest and oversee the opening of the new branch. This expansion comes after a year of rapid growth for the company, which increased business by 60% in 2018.

Vitek, originally from Toledo, moved to Jacksonville in 2013 to join the CTL team as a logistics sales specialist. Over the past six years, Vitek has focused on building strong client relationships and delivering phenomenal customer service, leading to a promotion to manager of operations and logistics solutions. As the company sought new growth opportunities, Vitek’s dedication and ambition inspired both him and CTL leadership to expand operations into the Midwest and open a new branch in Toledo.

“At Corporate Traffic, we are always looking for opportunities to grow, serve new customers, and strengthen our presence in new and current markets,” said Chris Cline, president of CTL. “As we were seeking to make a move into the Midwest, Rodney became the answer of ‘where’ when he sought to open a new branch in Toledo. Location is everything, and opening a branch in the heart of the Midwest will allow us to further personalize client service and continue to build our trust and credibility across the country.”

According to CTL, the new Toledo branch will join the existing Jacksonville, Florida headquarters and Charlotte, North Carolina branch as part of the company’s growing portfolio. CTL plans to hire 20 new employees over the next 12 months to deliver the company’s high level of service to the Midwest, initially focusing on truckload, intermodal, and cutting-edge technology services.
